"Porepana kobza Yoko Ono"
Rural utopia
The "gilded" frame which Dnepr
plavni and art-happenings are visible through stands in the middle
of vegetable garden. In the painting house of Polina Rayko the audio-performance
"Porepana kobza Yoko Ono" sounds - the Ukrainian folk
songs with the Japanese dissonances. The third festival of the contemporary
art "D˛DTSEBABA" took place on October, 8-10, 2004.
This year organizers - the Kherson studio "Totem", - made
an effort to limited all participants by the theme "Rural utopia"
and by the real frame from heritage of the soviet Art Union. From
Chernyanka - the first motherland of Russian futurist art, - the
third "departure" day of festival was carried to Tsyurupinsk,
to the house of Polina Rayko. Some days before the beginning of
festival the house, found under threat of sale with the perspective
of creation of cowshed was sold to good hands with the perspective
of creation of museum and art center, where artists will be able
to be going, communicate and work. The creative laboratory of such
kind the guests of festival saw. |
